The Local Age Concern

Age Concern Bracknell Forest (ACBF) is a registered charity funded by the organisations and people of Bracknell Forest and working exclusively to benefit older people in this borough.

It was formed in 1972 as part of the Age Concern federation. However, since Age UK was formed, there is no longer any national Age Concern.

ACBF works in partnership with Local Authorities, statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations to:

  • help to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience
  • ensure comfort and security for older people
  • provide advice and support to families and carers

We are also a 'Friend of Age UK Berkshire'... We are sympathetic with their aims but are NOT part of the Age UK organisation.
