Our Offer
Community, Connection and Compassion.

For over fifty years, Age Concern Bracknell Forest has been dedicated to improving the lives of older people in our community. As an independent local charity, we provide support, connection, and care for those who need it most.
Our day centre offers a welcoming space for people living with dementia, where safety, comfort, and companionship come first.
We bring people together across generations through community groups, clubs, and events designed to reduce isolation and foster belonging for everyone.
We are proud to be the new operators of the Bucklers Park Community Hub – an exciting new chapter that will allow us to work hand in hand with local residents to build a vibrant, inclusive space for all.

Age Concern Bracknell Forest
Age Concern Bracknell Forest is a proud, independent local charity – not funded by any national body – dedicated to supporting older people across our community.
We run a dementia-friendly day centre offering a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for people living with dementia, as well as those experiencing loneliness or isolation. Open weekdays from 9am–4pm, the centre provides engaging activities, social connection, and essential respite for carers.
Beyond our day centre, we tackle loneliness at the heart of the community. We host friendly social groups in Bullbrook and Harmans Water, and work collaboratively to offer a carers’ support group in Priestwood. We also run a monthly weekend lunch club, helping introduce weekend support for those who need it, along with local trips and outings further afield to encourage people to stay active and engaged.
We are also the proud operator of the Buckler’s Park Community Hub – a vibrant, multi-purpose space featuring a sports hall, café, nursery, meeting rooms, and outdoor courts. The Hub brings residents, local businesses, and community organisations together to create a lively, inclusive centre for all.
At Age Concern Bracknell Forest, our mission is simple: to enrich lives, strengthen communities, and ensure older people feel valued, connected, and supported.
